Happy Independence Day 2013!!!

 

 

This year, like all others we gather together with family and friends and enjoy the local 4th of July parade.  It was a lot more fun this year watching Reagan grab all of the candy she could and her reaction to the floats.  We also enjoyed some games at the fair. 

 

We had a fun time celebrating our great country! 

Thank you to all who have served and still serve and fight for our freedoms.

 

 

 

 

Virginia trip

(May 21-25)

 

 

After New York, we took the train and headed south 
to Virginia to visit family and friends. 

 

We had so much fun running around in the open country,

driving tractors, exploring Monticello (Thomas Jefferson's home),
chasing frogs and lighting bugs, planting flowers at the family cemetery,
eating ice cream and playing with cousins!!

 

We even brought home a giant Minnie

(or me-me as Reagan says) from Memaw!

New York trip

(May 18-20)

 

 

We headed off to New York City to join family in celebrating

Jake's graduation from Columbia University. 

 

Congrats Jake!!!

 

 

 

 

We enjoyed the sights and sounds of New York. 

We had a blast eating pizza, sight-seeing,

and hanging out with family.
